This event was a concept done for the Milwaukee Eisner Museum to exhibit Otl Aicher and his designs for the 1972 Munich Olympics. For this event I wanted to highlight the icon system and graphic imagery that Otl Aicher created along with his design team. I used a color palette influenced by his design as well as the actual icons themselves. The overlapping of shape and color over white paper was another design feature I tried to subtly highlight.  I felt that a contrast of color over white would help to emphasize the iconic symbols. Overall, the subject matter is what I focused on and not the olympics itself.
